The Bellwether School is committed to a tuition assistance program that ensures a diverse student community and that families of all economic means can afford an independent school education. Our tuition assistance program is designed to assist families with financial need by covering a part of the cost of tuition and other expenses at the school. Tuition assistance awards range from partial to almost full tuition assistance. Decisions regarding amounts of tuition assistance are determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Assistance is determined by the family’s ability to pay and the scholarship funds available at the time of application. We urge every family to consider applying for aid; often even a small grant will make a difference. To that end, we send an Application for Tuition Assistance along with all offers of enrollment. Families seeking tuition assistance should return the application along with the Enrollment Agreement. This application will be due by the deadline as it is stated on the enrollment agreement. The Tuition Assistance Committee will inform families by late April of the amount of awards. A second round of tuition assistance applications (for requests for a second review or for families who are enrolling in the late spring) will be considered in June and the committee will inform families of the decisions by the end of June. Families may request further information regarding tuition assistance by contacting the administrative offices. |
